I didn't think that I would've finished first semester so fast!
At least I get to enjoy these two weeks of not worrying about assignments. Though, I do have to land a job pronto. I'll probably just end up walking around the city handing in my CV to as many shops as I can find.

It's getting a lot harder for me to blog. Maybe I need a change of scenery (tumblr?..).

I wonder how everyone is doing across the world. I wish I could have a barbecue with everyone I've met over the years. Some food, beers and sweet tunes.

Jed Jones. My man, I know wherever you are, you're doing well. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for your funeral. Some of my greatest and fondest memories, have included you buddy. I've had many first experiences with you, we've hung out since kindergarten. Brunei won't be the same without you, I can guarantee you that. Whenever I'm back in Brunei, I will make sure to honor your memory in my own way. There will always be an empty seat at my table outside of my house for you. We will all miss you, but never forget you.

Brunei, I really do miss you...

Anna and I have been down with a Virus for the last week, such a pain in the ass!

I've finally recovered with a runny nose, but Anna's now got the beginnings of what appears to be Bronchitis. She's up in the mountains with her family, so at least I know she's in good hands. Still, the bed is awfully cold without her. Even WITH the electric blanket!

I believe Winter has finally arrived in Melbourne due to what i've seen from the weather forecasts. 14 degrees seems to be highest it's going to get... GREAT. The heater in the apartment might as well be broken, it doesn't warm up the room at all. Stupid, stupid heater. The best thing to do is to have a hot shower when you can't take it anymore. But the ventilation in the bathroom is so shit, you can hardly see anything for the condensation!

Ah it's okay, it won't last forever.

I went into my interview on last Thursday and it wasn't as bad I thought it was going to be. I had Anna with me the first time for the tour, which was really comforting. She was so encouraging and supportive, asking more questions than I was. I really adore this girl...

I haven't heard back yet, and the lady I had the interview with isn't in the office until tomorrow.

Fingers crossed, I'll be starting first semester soon!
